4X the resolution of HD!

Back in the day I took a basic course in photography.

At the time Nikon was supposedly the camera maker with the best lens. It was pointed out to me by the instructor that buying that quality for anyone but a National Geographic photographer was actually a waste of money.

That's because even the basic entry level cameras had lenses that produced pictures of such quality that the human eye couldn't tell the difference between a picture taken with a Nikon or an entry level camera.

I do believe that this is also the case with HD televisions. HD is probably so good that the average eye could not tell the difference between HD television and the now advertised 4X HD television.

Things can only get so good and anything that improves it is generally a waste of technology.

I can't see wearing special glasses to be able to see how good 4XHD is.
