Should authorities be allowed to remove all guns and weapons of people deemed as potentially posing a threat to others?
Yes
No.
The way that one was written I gave it a loud and clear NO because it is far too vague.
First of all who are the authorities and how do they deem who is a threat to others?
The poll as written leaves far too many unanswered questions and either it is a clear poll with clear definitions it Piccolo gives it a NO.
There are too many problems with something like that.
Who are the so-called authorities? If we are looking at some fourth grade educated inbred yay-hoot hillbilly tin horn sheriff with a dime store badge that got the job because the mayor owed his daddy a favor then no way in hell.
Same holds for a judge that was put on the bench by someone as a political favor that has alliances to someone with a political agenda.
Incidentally finding fair and reasonable judges these days is getting harder and harder because judges have seemed to have gotten themselves into politics which is wrong.
A lot of politicians have weaponized judges along with law enforcement to do their dirty work for them. Both sides are probably guilty of this.
Would I accept the word of a competent lawman with street experience? Yeah, probably.
Still, the accused deserves to have things checked out and gone over so he can get his rights reinstated if the initial assessment was wrong.
The question the poll asked was too vague, far too vague for me to support.
