It would be a damned shame

Recently a shooting instructor was killed while teaching a nine year old girl to shoot an Uzi.

For what it's worth, she didn't kill him, he killed himself. He broke the safety rules and it bit him hard.

Of course, there is now a hue and cry to enact laws prohibiting adults to teach kids to shoot and handle firearms safely. I would imagine it that gets passed we would simply have to hand firearms to kids and send them on their own to teach themselves. Let's see how that one works out.

After all, it would be a damned shame to have responsible adults teach children something like gun safety.
