I have read a few things on failure to launch

and was disgusted but the other side does have a point.

Back in the day a person working at the Mill somewhere could scrape up a few bucks for a down payment and buy themselves a home. The American Dream was fairly easily attainable.

It actually still is attainable. There are jobs out there that enable people to own homes but they are fewer and further between than they were years ago.

Part of this is the fault of both political parties and illegal immigration. The Dems want illegals for votes and the Reps want them for cheap labor.

Wages for basic manufacturing jobs have been flat for a long time because of imported legal and illegal labor and inflation has continued.

I can now see to some extent where a child would stay at home longer to get on their feet.          

Still, there are a lot of unfilled apprenticeships and schools out there that would enable someone to make a decent living.
