My advice to the Cajun Navy (if it's not too late)

Stay independent of government. 

Accept no monies from government. If you take their money you will have to take their orders and play by their crippling rules and regulations.

Currently it appears to me that your organization is a shining example of the best America has to offer. It's the American people helping the American people like they are supposed to.

If you let the government get involved you will have so much interference you will have one hell of a time accomplishing your mission of actually helping people.
