Gun bash today.

I bought a ticket to support the club. 

I'm going because I have never been to one before.

    Pic, what is a 'gun bash'? I've been shooting for 70+ years and have never heard that term used.

      Google describes it better than I can.
      A "gun bash" is an event, often a fundraiser, where firearms are raffled off as prizes over a period of time, sometimes including a dinner, live music, and auctions. Participants buy tickets, and for every ticket purchased in a particular category, a firearm from that category is drawn and awarded to a winner. These events are legal, though they must comply with federal and state laws, including proper background checks by a licensed dealer before the firearm is transferred to the winner.

    Thank you for clearing that up for me. I should have looked it up on Google, but at my age using Google as the universal encyclopedia is still kind of foreign to me :-}
