I recall Michelle Obama trying something along those lines and the kids didn't like it because they were all pretty content eating junk.
I had figured that would happen and I figure it's going to happen if RFKjr gets his way and I hope he does.
Give the kids solid, nutritious meals and if the kids don't eat them, fine. Many of them are just plain too fat to begin with.
Those kids that are not getting fed at home properly will gladly wolf them down.
Win/win.
one can only imagine what RFK jr's idea of a healthy meal is! I think he's a DEI hire not in the sense you far right wingers think
ReplyDeleteOne of the big things he is targeting is all of the chemical crap they put in food. I know he wants to eliminate high fructose corn syrup among other things. Still, the fact is many of our kids are overweight and unhealthy.

DeleteIf you remove sugars of all kinds, the healthiest meal is probably one where you turn the classic 'food pyramid' on its head, and use only single ingredient foods.
DeleteFor the edification of our friend, being called a "far right winger," is a serious honor, in this political climate. Far better than a brainless leftist, or a spineless 'centrist.'
I don't doubt that even a little bit.
