I see now that so-called bump stocks are now illegal.

I don't have one because I think they are useless. Only accurate rifles interest me. Still, if I did I would simply hide it.

I get a kick out of listening to elected officials make threats about what they are going to do to people that don't surrender something like that be it guns, drugs or illegal fishing gear.

New York's SAFE act and Connecticut's so-called assault rifle ban have about 4-5% compliance. I would not be surprised if there is much more of that in Massachusetts, New Jersey or California.

One of the tests of a good law is how well it's followed. It doesn't like like a very good law to me.

A few days ago some congress critter said that they could nuke people that refused to turn in guns. He said that the people could not win in a fight against the army.

Some people don't get it.

The truth is the people don't have to win in a fight against the army (Who is very likely to refuse to take arms against the citizenry.)

All the people have to do is win in a fight against the lawmakers.

That wouldn't take much.

  1. Maybe will happen, but Fake News at the moment.

The MSM or the Fake News Progressive Propaganda Machine (synonyms, I know) are beating the drum suggesting a ban is in the works:

NYTs - Nov 28, 2018 · Bump stocks allow semiautomatic rifles to fire faster. A formal ban on the devices will be rolled out in the coming days to weeks, a Trump administration official said on Wednesday evening.

Unnamed official, unsubstantiated, and only a suggestion of a timeline, all while ignoring the government's own opinion that the court challenges will sink the Libtard's disarmament scheme.

Are Bump-Stocks useful - not so much.

It is interesting that the Libtard's demands for a ban and confiscation have given a novelty item more publicity than any ad campaign ever could have done.

Almost makes a person really want to go get one, lest they miss out on all the fun and a chance to be a spanner in the gears of the state?

As for any ban being effective - that is not a realistic stance given 80 years of ever more oppressive US gun legislation can't even address the homemade and improvised weapons criminals use. Oh but that is by definition, as the criminals don't follow the laws - bet you they don't even read the safety warnings on the ammo boxes either!

Bump-On for right now, and watch the actual government rather than the Fake News as repeated in the Internet Echo-Chamber.
