Oh. I am supposed to be sympathetic.
Surprise! Surprise! Surprise! I'm not sympathetic. Not even a tiny bit.
I was listening to some leftist make excuses for women that shoplifted cosmetics. They said that women needed beauty aids to find men.
My reply is "Just walk into the bar at closing time when the fleet's in. You'll find more men than you can count."
Needless to say most of the women started screeching. Most, but not all. One woman posted this video:
What's funny about this is that there's more than a kernel of truth to it.
As I listened to the screeching I had a thought and found another dating tip. Post something along those lines and you can eliminate the women you don't want anything to do with immediately. The screechers get eliminated off the top.
Any of those left over are worth at least checking into.
I'll have to pass this on to the younger guys.

Back in the mid-1960s while in the Army, a bunch of us would go to Tacoma on a weekend pass. One of our group would always chat up the most obese and/or ugly gal in the bar. The first time this happened he was the butt of all our jibes and jokes. His answer was that most guys spend a lot of money on the most attractive and desirable females, then go home with nothing to show for it but an ache in their groins. By picking on the least desirable gals, he was always sure to have a bed partner that night.

That's funny. I got into hot water on Nextdoor when someone was trying to give shoplifters a pass over makeup. "She's trying to find a man"
