Yesterday's little post about the South got me thinking.

I'm tired of being called a racist because I am conservative.

The article points to the voting records of various elected officials and makes it clear that labeling conservatives as racists holds very little water.

While I have little use for LBJ, I do have to give Harry Truman credit for having enough guts to integrate the services. He didn't do this through congress. He took the bull by the horns and integrated it by Executive Order.
