Saaturday and gearing up.

A lot to be done today. I do believe it is a good day for an invasion breakfast consisting of steak and eggs.

We need an American Foreign Legion.

The French have one and it may very well be one of the few things the French do right. They give people both a chance to start over and a path to citizenship.

The Legion doesn't accept hardened criminals anymore but they do overlook a lot of things.

While they also don't accept French citizen as such they do permit about 25% of their total force to be Frenchmen under false passports.

Years ago the American services used to accept people with minor criminal records and give young people a start over but those days have long passed and in a way it's a shame. We could slip some Americans in the ranks and give them a start over. 

Legionnaires wear the famous white kepi and maybe our Legion ought to sport something distinctive along those lines to make it clear as to the fact that they are foreigners serving the United States.

Anyway, it would be a path to citizenship that not too many people could gripe about.
