Most idiots out there don't even begin to understand the Bill of Rights.

The rights covered in the bill are God given.

Let's look at the 3rd Amendment.

No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.

It strikes me that a homeowner really should not have to worry about soldiers arbitrarily walking into someone's house and demanding that the homeowners move into the basement and give their rooms to some soldier or soldiers. 

It's simply not right and there is no excuse for it at least in peace time. During war an emergency may arise and maybe things have to be done but it guarantees that there will be limits to it and probably compensation.

Still it is a God Given right not to have to quarter anyone whatsoever in one's home against one's will.

Of course most idiots think that these rights are given to them by a kind and beneficent government. They're not. They are simple basic human rights given to us by God.

The Bill of Rights simply recognizes these rights and says that the government promises not to infringe upon them.
