We have come full circle with the way cops are treated.

In the 60s it was "Off the Pigs!" and cops became the target. Things settled down a bit in the 80s.

Half a century later it's "Kill the cops." It's come full circle.

The other day I posted on another board that anyone that wanted to be a cop in this day and age ought to have their head examined first because something may very well be wrong with them.

It was one thing a few years back when a cop could just be a cop, but not in this day and age.

The inner city mentality strikes again and politicians pander to it for votes. First they gripe about cops beating criminals up and demanding they stay out of the neighborhood.

The cops stay clear, crime goes up and the neighborhood whines there is no law enforcement.

Before I became a policeman in this day and age I would fly to Aubagne, France and join the Foreign Legion. 

Besides being a little safer it is likely a lot less frustrating and confusing
