A heavily armed gunman robbed the 7 Eleven on Elm and High this morning

It is believed that that the heavily armed gunman is not the same person as the lightly armed gunman that robbed the First National Bank yesterday afternoon.

Police are looking for two gunmen, one heavily armed and one lightly armed.

WTF. Who cares how big a gat some thug is packing. A .22 can (and will if used properly) make a person just as dead as a .50 BMG.

In fact if you Google around you can find robberies committed with BB guns.

If you have a gun and are committing a crime you are 'heavily armed'.

FWIW the NRA considers a 'high powered rifle' to be ANY CENTER FIRE Rifle.
