TV hasn't really changed a whole lot since the 50s

Yeah, I know. It used to be in black and white and the photography sucked and so on. From a technology standpoint it's gotten better.

The entertainment value has gone downhill and so has the educational value. By the 60s it was referred to as a vast wasteland.

I wonder what to call it now.

Earlier this week I heard some pissed off woman mad at some guy that got the last 'on sale' whatever. She was ragging on him and he wasn't going to budge as well he should not have. I got tired of listening to her after about five seconds.

I looked at here ans said, "Hey, Lady! You DO  know the man you are abusing is carrying a concealed, loaded handgun, don't you?"

Her lips slammed shut.

Between something like 1885 and 1920 the Iver Johnson company was responsible for creating what is often called the era of good manners.

Iver Johnson was the leading manufacturer of affordable, easily concealable handguns.

It's funny how people change their attitude when they discover that there could be consequences for their words and deeds.
