which doesn't surprise me in the least when I think about it.

First of all the successful and presumably intelligent only have as many children as they can afford to raise and educate successfully.

The unsuccessful and stupid breed like rabbits.

On top of that, the flow if illegals doesn't help any, either. 

The intelligent and successful people in another country tend to stay put. They have a halfway decent life where they are so they don't feel the need to migrate. 

Instead the unsuccessful and probably not as bright tend to migrate as an effort to improve themselves.

Hell, this even goes back to before the Civil War. 

The slaves that were imported to the United States were for the most part the people that were dumb enough to get caught by the slave catchers. The smart ones didn't get caught.

With the increase of stupidity I have seen over the past several years I am surprised it's only 2 IQ points we've lost.
