which is a real steal in my opinion.
Decent sailboats are going for a song and it is tempting to think of buying one, selling out and just living aboard.
The biggest I'd go is a 32 footer and that'd be pushing it.
I see more 40 footers and up being literally given away because someone that bought it had bitten off more than they could chew.
"Project boats" are there simply for the removal. Some of the smaller day sailers are sitting in trailers and can just be driven off the premises and cost little or nothing.
Of course the most expensive boat out there is generally a free boat unless you're carful but the point is it is now very much a buyer's market.
