My sling stud should be here this afternoon

and I'll mount it on my service rifle and be done with that project.

I suppose some dopey rule Nazi might notice it and point it out to me that it's probably an 'illegal' modification but I don't really care because that rifle will never see Camp Perry which is where stuff like that matters.

Most local clubs won't even notice it even if I DO go to one to shoot.
