I am sick and tired of the Battle of the Pandemic

The absolutely worst part of the whole thing is it has become a political mess. When things turn political the propaganda machines on both sides get switched on and go into high gear and everyone gets treated to nothing more or less than a pack of lies.

Lately the left has said to believe science and they are right except for one small detail. They mistake science for being what is said by talking heads with an agenda. You have to believe science itself and look at the honest values run through an apolitical organization which is about as hard to find as frog hair.

Every think tank or for that matter, every organization has to be financed somewhere so it generally winds up to being just another case of follow the money.

Follow the money and you can follow the agenda.

Added to the fact that people don't like to hear things like the truth.

An example of a cold hard truth is that sanitation workers have done far more to eradicate and control disease than the entire medical profession. 

There are a lot of diseases out there you don't hear of much these days. While medicine probably can cure most of them, they don't even appear on the radar anymore because almost nobody gets them anymore. Thank modern sanitation for that one.

Still, we constantly hear kudos (in most cases well deserved) to the medical profession as they make things better for us. We can attribute much of that to the fact that the medical profession doesn't have to deal with diseases that don't show up anymore because of the efforts of sanitation workers.

Still, we are not talking about the diseases that have been eradicated or near eradicated. We're talking about the present pandemic.

After well over a year I have only been able to find out with some certainty the following.

1. It is a virus and some people get sick and die.

2.The fatality rate is very low.

3. A number of people have reported cures from unapproved drugs like Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine.

4. A number of people that have been vaccinated had gotten the virus.

5. The country is both divided and scared and a lot of people are just plain being stupid about it.
