Even though it's a rerun it never fails to make me laugh.
I think the reason the 'He fell off a curb' was put on the official report is most likely the cop that took the report was repeating what he was told by the four Marines. He was probably trying not to wet his pants laughing. Cops are not stupid.
Anyone that has been in the service knows that slipping off a curb or falling down a flight of stairs causes a lot more injuries to military members than it does to the civilian populace. Stairs, curbstones and similar things are very dangerous places, especially for recaltricent service members.
I've heard shower blocks are also a danger.
