My hot water heater started leaking and today I get a new one.

I'm going to go the tankless route this time and have it professionally installed which is fine by me.

I think that it will make my gas bill drop a bit because I won't have a pilot light running 24/7 and it won't have to keep 50 gallons of water hot 24/7. It's 'on demand'. 

I do know that it will use a lot of gas for a short period of time but I think it'll work out in my favor.

We shall see what we shall see.
