Some Karen was babbling about how fireworks or somebody's loud motorcycle could upset the veteran she lives near because of his PTSD.

Fact is the guy was in the Navy and served in a maintenance depot in Indiana his whole hitch. He never saw a boat the whole time nor heard a shot fired in anger.

She's just using him in an effort to get her own way.

Maybe the vet she lives next to doesn't mind fireworks at all.  He also may love the throaty sound of a well-tuned open piped Harley.
