which is something a lot of the younger people don't know about or understand.
A few years back I saw an old man with an Iwo Jima ball cap and overheard a couple of teenagers. One of them asked the other where Iwo Jima was.
"I think it's where John Wayne was killed," the other replied.
Actually this doesn't upset me too much because after three or four generations things tend to get forgotten.
It's sad but it's true.
